We are not open yet and don’t have a building; however, we do have 4 rescues that are ready to be adopted that are in foster care.
We are happy to report that Montague County Animal Rescue is now a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible.
Our Mission
The mission of Montague County Animal Rescue (a.k.a. MCares) is to provide quality care to dogs that have been abandoned, surrendered or lost.
We’ll collaborate with other shelters and rescues to get animals adopted and educate the public about the importance of spaying and neuters. MCares is a “No Kill” shelter provided the animal is adoptable and not a threat to anyone.
